In celebration of International Artist Day we invite you to the 100 Braid St Anonymous Art Show Gala Opening. This exclusive event will allow you first choice of the amazing and diverse art and media from the artists participating in the show. Perhaps we should have called it the “not so anonymous” show because we’re going to let you know some of the artists who are participating on our Instagram and Facebook pages (and if you’re a fan of their work they’ll let you know themselves) but it will be up to you to identify their work if you want to purchase it! Call it a huge treasure hunt…..
We will be hanging 1-3 works of art from each artist but who created the pieces will remain a mystery until after the artwork is purchased. Buyers will be able to have their piece wrapped and take it home that night. A sold tag will be put in place revealing the artists name.
All art work is unframed 12″ x 12″. There will be oil and acrylic paintings but we have also expanded to textile art and mixed media pieces.
Each piece is priced at $150 with $100 going directly to the artists themselves; the remainder will go to Camp Kerry Society to provide art supplies and therapy to bereaved children and families and to cover basic costs of the show.
We will announce all artists and buyers (if you wish) on our Instagram @100braidst_art, Facebook and Twitter accounts.
While the focus of our Gala is on the art we are delighted to have Chef Bain Van Dam and his team at Fork & Knife Catering create a menu of handcrafted hor d’oeuvres exclusively for our event. Each single ticket will also include a glass of locally sourced wine or beer and couples tickets will include one glass for each person.

$200 Couple registration (with $100 patron coupon towards purchase of art of your choice)
